Faith is energy, a force that empowers us to move, to take action, to accomplish some definite objective or purpose. It is the vehicle by which we manifest things in Heaven on the earth. Operating to connect the supernatural into the natural. Without it (faith) there is no pleasing or satisfying God. Because the initiation of active faith is to use it to believe that He exists. Until that happens, faith is a dormant seed left lifeless, yet packed with the power of God.
